85-year-old woman found dead on Práter Street – police hunt for killer
A woman aged 85 was murdered in Budapest's 8th district on Monday night. The Budapest Police Headquarters has launched a major investigation on suspicion of homicide.
Homicide suspected on Práter Street: manhunt launched
According to dehir.hu, a murder occurred on Monday night on Práter Street in Budapest's 8th district: police attended the scene following a report and found the 85-year-old resident dead in her flat.
Based on the initial investigation, suspicion of a third party's involvement was raised. The Budapest Police Headquarters (BRFK) Life Protection Department subsequently ordered an investigation against an unknown perpetrator on suspicion of homicide.
The BRFK launched a manhunt to locate the perpetrator, with necessary investigative measures currently underway – according to a police statement.
