Over the weekend, officers found two human bodies that had already begun to decompose. Pre-trial investigations have been launched.
Two decomposed bodies discovered in Šiauliai and Raseiniai municipalities
Over the weekend, officers from Šiauliai district police received reports of two human bodies found in different towns. Both bodies were at an advanced stage of decomposition.
The first discovery was recorded on Saturday at approximately 15:40. In Šiauliai city, at a building on Birutės Street. Officers there discovered the remains of a woman born in 1941.
Later that same day, at approximately 23:15, the second body was found in Raseiniai, in premises on Šermukšnių Path. This was a man born in 1969.
In both cases, law enforcement initiated pre-trial investigations to establish the precise circumstances and causes of death. The investigation is being conducted by Šiauliai district police.
