At approximately 18:49 in Kaišiadorys district, in the town of Žasliai, officers inspected a BMW 330 vehicle. It was being driven by a Lithuanian Armed Forces representative off-duty, born in 2004. No alcohol was detected during the inspection.
Upon examination of the vehicle, officers discovered a polythene bag containing plant-based material. Experts are to determine whether it is a narcotic or psychotropic substance.
A case has been opened under a Criminal Code provision concerning unlawful possession of narcotic substances without intent to distribute them.
