On Thursday evening in Kaunas, on Partizanų Street, the body of a deceased minor child born in 2024 was discovered in a private residence. At approximately 22:20, a report was received that a lifeless infant had been found in the flat.
According to data from the police department, no external signs of violence were visible on the body. The circumstances of the incident have not been commented on in greater detail so far.
A pre-trial investigation has been launched into the incident, during which the precise cause of death will be sought to be established. The investigation is being carried out by law enforcement institutions.
