Swindlers defrauded approximately 6,500 euros: one woman fell victim to an SMS message with a link, while another man lost money through a failed purchase of building materials.

Police reported two fraud cases in which victims lost approximately 6,500 euros.
In the first case, in Klaipėda, a woman received a short message with an internet link on 29 June. After clicking on it and entering the requested information, she soon noticed that 3,100 euros had disappeared from her account. The incident came to the attention of Klaipėda Police District headquarters, and officers began a pre-trial investigation on Thursday following the victim's statement.
The second case was recorded in Raseiniai District. There, a man born in 1988 paid 3,372 euros on 12 February for building materials and their delivery. The funds were transferred to an account provided by the seller, but the man never received the goods and the money was not returned to him. Šiauliai Police District headquarters also began an investigation.
Both cases are instances of financial fraud in which individuals lost large sums of money by trusting fraudulent information.
