According to Google News LT — Crime (lt), on Tuesday, 16 June, shortly after midday, officers patrolling the eastern part of Klaipėda noticed an "Audi A6" parked on the secluded Garažų Street.
At approximately 12:35, after checking the vehicle, plant-based material was found in its interior and on a 33-year-old passenger. It is suspected to be cannabis. The material was handed over to experts for examination.
According to preliminary information, the Klaipėda resident was not distributing the substance — it could have been intended for personal use. The man will have to explain where he obtained the material and what purpose it was intended for.
A pre-trial investigation has been opened at Klaipėda City Police Headquarters into the unlawful possession of narcotic or psychotropic substances without the intention to distribute them.
