The manager of a Klaipėda company contacted police regarding the embezzlement of 563,303 euros. The employee is suspected of falsifying records in the client database and fraudulently withdrawing money over a three-year period.

On Wednesday at 2 p.m., the manager of a company contacted the Klaipėda city police commissariat. He reported that from 2023 until 1 March 2026, an employee of the company falsified records in the client database and fraudulently embezzled 563 thousand 303 euros from the company.
According to police department data, the money may have been embezzled over a three-year period. The suspect's details are being established. A pre-trial investigation has been opened into fraud.
