On Friday in Naujoji Akmenė, an inebriated man wielding an axe chased minors in a yard. The man was apprehended and a pre-trial investigation has been launched.
Drunk man with axe attacked minors on Vinco Kudirkos Street
As reported by LRT, on Friday at 17:35 in Naujoji Akmenė on Vinco Kudirkos Street, an inebriated man (born 1960) chased minor children in a yard whilst holding an axe in his hand.
According to data from the Telšiai District Police Headquarters, the man's blood alcohol concentration reached 1.92 per mille. Shouting and cursing, he demonstrated a lack of respect for those around him.
No victims were injured during the incident. The man was apprehended and placed in custody. A pre-trial investigation has been launched into the violation of public order.
