During the early hours of Monday morning in Panevėžys, near the intersection of Nemuno and J. Tilvyčio streets, police officers conducted a check. During the operation, two transparent, sealed packets containing a substance suspected to be narcotic were found in possession of a twenty-three-year-old man, according to JP.lt.
The incident occurred on the morning of 6 July at around 1 a.m. The suspect was detained. Panevėžys police have opened a pre-trial investigation under Article 259 of the Criminal Code.
