In Skuode, in a house on Krantinės Street, a man born in 1960 was found dead on 12 June at approximately 4:22. The body was discovered in a room of a residential flat.
Officers of the Klaipėda District Police reported that another man born in 1960 was detained and remanded in custody in connection with this incident. He was found to have a blood alcohol concentration of 0.79 ppm.
A pre-trial investigation has been initiated for murder. Under the Criminal Code, a person who murders another person may be punished with deprivation of liberty from seven to fifteen years.
