Preliminary investigations have been initiated in both cases for causing physical pain or minor health impairment; both suspects remained at liberty.
On 19 August, at approximately 22:54, an intoxicated man born in 1996 assaulted a sober woman born in 1995 in Pameriai village. He was found to have a blood alcohol level of 2.37 per mille. The victim was examined by emergency medical services personnel, but was not transported to hospital. The suspect was detained and placed in custody.
