Kaunas Regional Prosecutor's Office has submitted a criminal case to court in which three men are accused of unlawful dealing in a very large quantity of narcotic drugs whilst acting as part of an organised group.

A criminal case has been submitted to court in which three men are accused of unlawful dealing in a very large quantity of narcotic drugs whilst acting as part of an organised group. This was done by Kaunas Regional Prosecutor's Office.

The case materials show that the accused unlawfully obtained a large quantity of drugs from unknown persons in December 2025. One of the three men transported 21 packages containing almost 21 kilograms of cocaine in a vehicle to a residential property in Marijampolė.

The following month, in January 2026, one of the accused, intending to remove drugs from the flat, used special equipment to open a hiding place installed in a vehicle. At the same time, the other two men entered the flat to collect the drugs. As they were placing packages of cocaine into a bag, they were detained at the scene by Customs Criminal Service officers. The entire quantity of drugs was confiscated.

Under the Criminal Code, such an offence carries a prison sentence of between ten and fifteen years. The case will be heard by Kaunas Regional Court.
