The Kaunas District Prosecutor's Office has handed a criminal case to court in which three men are charged with unlawful handling of a very large quantity of cocaine whilst acting as an organised group.

The Kaunas District Prosecutor's Office has handed a criminal case concerning narcotics to court. In it, three individuals are charged with unlawful possession of a large quantity of drugs whilst acting as an organised group.
Pre-trial investigation material shows that the defendants acquired a very large quantity of narcotic substances from unknown persons in December 2025. One of the three suspects transported 21 packages to a flat in Marijampolė by car. The packages contained nearly 21 kilograms of cocaine.
The case has been handed to court for examination. This is one of the larger quantities of cocaine seized in Lithuania in recent times.
