Attacker sought in Veisiejai after man beaten
Alytaus District Police checked vehicles in the Veisiejai area – seeking a man born in 1985 who was beaten by an assailant. An investigation has been initiated for causing minor bodily harm.
Attacker sought in Veisiejai after man beaten
Early in the morning, around five o'clock, a beaten man born in 1985 was found in Veisiejai, Lazdijai District. Alytaus District Police were notified of the incident. The victim was hospitalised due to various injuries – medical assistance was required.
Police spokeswoman Eglė Kačinskienė confirmed that a pre-trial investigation has been initiated under the article concerning causing minor bodily harm. So far, it has not been established who committed this assault.
In an effort to find the suspect, law enforcement officers began stopping and checking vehicles in the Veisiejai area from early morning.
