A violent incident occurred in a flat on Kalvarijų Street in Vilnius. During the conflict, a man born in 1979 was stabbed with a knife.
The victim told police that he was stabbed by a man he knew by sight. At the time of the incident, the injured man was intoxicated – he was found to have a blood alcohol level of 2.84 per mille.
Medical personnel provided emergency care to the victim. After examination by the doctors, the man was released to recover at home.
A preliminary investigation has been launched into this incident under the Criminal Code provision concerning minor health impairment.
