On 28 June, at approximately 13:29, a crime occurred at Radvilų Palace in Vilnius's old town. A signed photograph by renowned artist Boris Mikhaïlov went missing from the historic building located on Vilniaus Street. The stolen work has been valued at €7,000.
A pre-trial investigation has been opened by Vilnius District Police's Third City Station in connection with the incident, under Article 178, paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code, which provides for liability for the theft of another's property.
Authorities have released video footage showing a possible perpetrator and are appealing to the public. Residents who can provide any information about this person or the circumstances of the incident are urged to contact the investigating senior detective Daiva Žilinskytė.
