Six cars damaged in Vilnius courtyards, driver fled the scene
During the night in the capital, a red Citroën vehicle damaged six parked cars in courtyards and left the scene. The suspected vehicle was found a few hours later on Ateities Street.

During the night from Thursday to Friday, in the Fabijoniškiai district of the capital, a red Citroën vehicle damaged six parked cars in courtyards and left the scene of the incident.
A report about the incident was received at 1.40 a.m. Witnesses reported that the vehicle was being driven aggressively in the courtyard and damaged parked cars, after which it drove towards the Mandarinas shopping centre.
The Citroën first collided with an Opel Zafira. When attempting to stop the offender, the vehicle continued and struck five more cars: a Toyota Prius, Toyota Corolla, Nissan, Toyota Avensis, and another Citroën.
Officers who arrived on scene did not find the suspected offender. In total, six vehicles were found to be damaged, including the offender's own vehicle.
Around 7 a.m., the suspected vehicle was found parked across the entrance to a car park on Ateities Street. The car belongs to a man born in 1980, but contact with him could not be established. The vehicle was empty inside.
The car was towed to the police compound on Minsko Street. Investigators are currently establishing who exactly was driving and clarifying other circumstances of the incident.
