Three individuals were intercepted on Tuesday in the Noertzange area after refusing to submit to a traffic stop. The incident occurred when law enforcement attempted to stop the vehicle in which they were travelling. The occupants then fled on foot, triggering a search operation in the surrounding area.
Police had warned drivers not to pick up hitchhikers in the zone as a precautionary measure. Several hours after their disappearance, the three fugitives were located and apprehended by officers.
