Four men linked to a criminal group that stole cars have been arrested by police officers from the Łódź Voivodeship. The suspects operated in the Skierniewice County area, from where they transported stolen vehicles.
Investigators are not disclosing details of the gang's methods of operation or the number of stolen cars. However, it is known that the arrested men are involved in thefts of vehicles of considerable value.
The District Prosecutor's Office in Skierniewice is conducting proceedings in this case and emphasises that the matter is ongoing in nature. This means that in the coming period, further individuals may be subject to charges and new investigative leads may emerge.
All four arrested individuals have been charged with theft involving break-ins to vehicles. The criminal code provides for a sentence of up to 10 years' imprisonment for this offence.
