Florida tourist murdered in Old San Juan; five people detained
A 40-year-old man resident in Florida was shot and killed on Calle Del Mercado following a brawl at an establishment on Calle San Sebastián.

A Florida tourist identified as Nathan Joel Castro, aged 40, was murdered in the early hours of Tuesday on Calle Del Mercado, opposite Teatro 15 in Old San Juan, according to telemundo51.com.
According to the San Juan Municipal Police, the incident began around 12:41 a.m. with a brawl between several individuals inside the Monostereo establishment, located on Calle San Sebastián.
The altercation spilled onto the public street, where one of those involved opened fire on Castro, causing his death. The incident was captured on video.
In relation to the case, authorities reported that five people are in custody: three women, two of them minors, and two men. Additionally, a vehicle was seized as part of the investigation.
The Homicide Division of the Criminal Investigation Corps (CIC) of San Juan, together with the duty prosecutor, is in charge of the case.
