A loaded Glock was found on a male suspect during preventative searches in St. Peters on Sunday night. KPSM Flex-Team arrested the man and transported him to Philipsburg headquarters.

Loaded Glock found on suspect during St. Peters police sweep
A loaded Glock firearm was seized and a male suspect arrested after KPSM Flex-Team conducted preventative controls in the St. Peters area late Sunday night, 721news Sint Maarten reports.
Officers were carrying out stops and searches at around 10:30 p.m. on 4 October 2026, targeting illegal firearm possession as part of a broader public safety effort. During one of those searches, officers discovered the Glock on a male individual. The weapon was loaded and ready for use.
The suspect was immediately arrested and transported to police headquarters in Philipsburg, where he was processed and is being questioned in connection with the ongoing investigation.
The Police Force of Sint Maarten called on the public to cooperate with preventative controls and to report any information on illegal firearms or criminal activity to the authorities.
