Chingford man to stand trial for Loughton sexual assault in August 2027
Reinaldo Valdes, 57, has pleaded not guilty to two charges of sexual assault following an alleged incident in Loughton in August 2024. A trial is set for Chelmsford Crown Court in August 2027.

Chingford man denies Loughton sexual assault charges at Chelmsford Crown Court
Reinaldo Valdes, 57, of Avril Way, Chingford, is to stand trial after denying two counts of sexual assault relating to an alleged incident in Loughton in the early hours of 24 August 2024, essexcountynews.co.uk reports.
Valdes appeared at Chelmsford Crown Court on 11 June and entered not guilty pleas to charges of sexual assault by penetration and sexual assault.
A trial has been scheduled at the same court for August 2027.
The British national has been released on conditional bail in the interim.
Essex Police said the woman involved has been supported by specialists since the matter was reported, and has been kept informed of developments in the investigation.
