Girl, 13, sexually assaulted on Coventry to Wolverhampton train, man arrested
A 13-year-old girl was allegedly sexually assaulted on a train in the West Midlands on 24 May. A man in his 30s has since been arrested and bailed.

Thirteen-year-old assaulted on West Midlands train service
British Transport Police (BTP) have launched an urgent witness appeal after a 13-year-old girl was allegedly sexually assaulted aboard a train travelling through the West Midlands, the Daily Express reports.
The alleged assault took place on the 8.09pm London Euston to Wolverhampton service on 24 May. The girl was sitting at a table in Coach U at around 9pm when a man sat down beside her. BTP said he allegedly assaulted her there and then again in the on-train toilet. The train departed Coventry at 9.15pm and arrived in Wolverhampton at 10.06pm.
A man in his 30s was arrested on 28 May on suspicion of Sexual Assault by Penetration. He has since been released on bail subject to stringent conditions while the investigation continues.
Detectives are now appealing for any witnesses who were aboard the service that evening to come forward. Anyone with information is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 785 of 24 May.
