Suffolk Police were called to the address at 12:52 BST, following a report from ambulance staff. A suspect was arrested later that afternoon on suspicion of murder and taken to Martlesham Police Investigation Centre for questioning.

Umidbek Akhmedov, 31, of Summer Lane in Bromeswell, was subsequently charged with manslaughter and was due to appear before Ipswich Magistrates' Court on Monday.

A post-mortem examination was carried out on Sunday, though police indicated that further work was required to establish the cause of death.

Investigators said the two men were believed to have known one another and confirmed they were treating the case as an isolated incident.
