Murder arrests in Stoke-on-Trent after two teenagers stabbed, one dead
One teenager died and another was left critically injured in Stoke-on-Trent on Friday night. Four local suspects have been arrested on suspicion of murder.

Four held on suspicion of murder after fatal attack in Meir
Four people have been arrested on suspicion of murder following a fatal attack on two teenagers in Stoke-on-Trent, bbc.co.uk reports.
Staffordshire Police were called to Brookhouse Road, in the Meir area, at 23:45 BST on Friday after reports of violence. A man in his late teens was pronounced dead at the scene. A second man, also in his late teens, was taken to hospital and remains in a critical but stable condition.
A cordon remains in place on Brookhouse Road while officers investigate the circumstances of the attack.
Two 18-year-old men, a 20-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy — all from Stoke-on-Trent — were arrested on suspicion of murder. The 17-year-old faces an additional charge of suspicion of attempted murder. All four remain in police custody.
Detective Inspector Katie Gregory said: "This is a devastating time for all those affected by what has happened overnight."
Gregory added that residents should not be alarmed: "I'd like to reassure the community that there is no wider risk to them, and we are doing all we can to understand the circumstances that led to this tragic incident."
Staffordshire Police have appealed for anyone with information about the attack to come forward and contact officers.
