Google News IE — Crime (en) reports that Police Scotland has opened a murder investigation following the death of a man found collapsed on a street in Dundonald, Ayrshire.

Graham Milliken, 57, was discovered lying unresponsive on Main Street at around 04:05 on Sunday. He was taken to Crosshouse Hospital in Kilmarnock, where he later died. His family have been informed.

The murder inquiry was launched after a post-mortem examination was carried out. A 36-year-old man has since been charged in connection with the death and is due to appear at Ayr Sheriff Court on Tuesday.

Detective Inspector Jamie Carruth said officers would remain in the area while enquiries continue. He called on anyone with dashcam or doorbell camera footage from the vicinity to contact police and share the material with investigators.
