Three charged with murder over fatal Wembley stabbing of teenager David Wynter

Three teenagers have been charged with murder after 17-year-old David Wynter was fatally stabbed near Brent Civic Centre on 25 August.

Three people have now been charged with murder following the fatal stabbing of 17-year-old David Wynter near Brent Civic Centre in Wembley, BBC News reports.

Wynter was attacked on Engineers Way at around 14:30 BST on 25 August and died from his injuries. A 15-year-old boy was charged with murder two days after the attack.

On Saturday, two further teenagers were charged: a 17-year-old boy and 18-year-old Jahquarn St Hillaire. Both face charges of murder and possession of an offensive weapon.

The 15-year-old has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at the Old Bailey on 24 September. The other two are due before Willesden Magistrates' Court on Monday.

A fourth suspect, 20-year-old Diego Farquharson of Birchen Grove, Brent, has been charged with assisting an offender and is also due before magistrates on Monday.

The Metropolitan Police said Wynter's family continues to receive support. Officers described the investigation as ongoing and called on anyone with information or footage to come forward.

Extra patrols have been deployed in the area following the stabbing. Brent Civic Centre remained closed while the investigation continued.
