Two suspected drug dealers arrested after car crash in Peterborough

Dashcam footage captured police arresting two men after their car fled officers and struck a parked van in Peterborough. Cannabis was found on both suspects.

Dashcam footage has captured the moment two suspected drug dealers were arrested in Peterborough after the car they were travelling in collided with a parked van, Google News IE — Crime (en) reports.

Cambridgeshire Police said officers were on patrol in Millfield on Monday when they attempted to stop and speak to the occupants of the vehicle. The car was then driven away from the scene.

Following the collision, a 20-year-old man and a 19-year-old man were taken into custody on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug. Officers said cannabis was recovered from both individuals at the scene.

Both men have since been released on police bail, with conditions in place until 24 November.
