Investigators from the Police Department arrested a man on Wednesday in Villa Gobernador Gálvez who was wanted on suspicion of committing a sexual attack in the town of Tandil, in the interior of Buenos Aires province.
Officers deployed a tracking operation in the area, using information about the accused's identity. Through these efforts, they managed to locate him on a public street in the aforementioned town in southern Santa Fe, at the intersection of San Martín at 2900.
The suspect, whose name is Tomás O., was a fugitive from the Buenos Aires justice system, which had requested assistance from the Santa Fe courts to execute the arrest warrant. Once apprehended, the accused was placed at the disposal of the judiciary and the corresponding charges were filed at the direction of the Court of Guarantees number 2 of Tandil, the body responsible for directing the investigation.
