A man of Brazilian origin, arrested for violating drug regulations, was moved from Misiones to Buenos Aires with heavy protection measures ordered by the Federal Court of Eldorado. Investigators link him to criminal gangs in his nation.
Considering the risk he represents, the judge ordered the National Gendarmerie to mount a special operation. The journey was made in stages: first by land vehicle from Squadron 10 to Cataratas del Iguazú airport, and then by air to the capital.
Upon landing at Aeroparque Jorge Newbery, the man was taken to the Central Custody Service. There he underwent health examinations, judicial procedures and corresponding prison records, before being sent to Federal Complex II in Marcos Paz.
