On the afternoon of Monday, personnel from the Second Police Station of El Soberbio, in Misiones province, travelled to a road providing access to Provincial Route 15, near Colonia Primavera, after receiving an alert about a vehicle that had lost control. Upon arriving at the scene, the officers found a Volkswagen Bora overturned on the side of the road, completely unoccupied and with no signs of those who had been travelling in it.

As part of routine procedures, the agents consulted the vehicle's registration details and determined that an active seizure order existed. This measure had been issued by the Third Section Malvinas Argentinas Police Station, located in Pablo Nogués, Buenos Aires province, as part of an investigation into aggravated robbery involving the use of a firearm.

At the request of the judge in charge, the car was removed and placed in judicial custody. Security forces in Misiones are keeping the investigation open to identify and locate the individuals who were driving the car before the accident and who subsequently abandoned it in the area.
