A 42-year-old Polish citizen, known as "Killer", was detained in Argentina following an international arrest warrant issued by a court in Katowice. He is accused of participating in a criminal group, kidnapping and unlawful deprivation of liberty.

A 42-year-old man of Polish nationality, nicknamed "Killer", was apprehended by Argentine security forces in mid-June. The detention took place in Puerto Iguazú, in the province of Misiones, when the individual was attempting to enter from neighbouring Brazil.
According to reporting by the portal Infobea, the Pole had been sought for several months under an international arrest warrant issued by a court in Katowice. He currently remains in custody awaiting extradition to the European country.
Argentine media outlets note that investigators have charged him with participation in a criminal organisation, kidnapping and unlawful deprivation of liberty.
The detainee had previously appeared in another high-profile criminal case. In July this year he testified as a defence witness in the case of the murder of 19-year-old GKS Katowice footballer Dominik Koszowski, which occurred in August 2016 outside the Salome club. During the trial he claimed he had no connection with violent supporters and that he earned his living making tattoos.
According to the Katowice newspaper "Gazeta Wyborcza", the arrested man could also be linked to the kidnapping and murder of 34-year-old Marek Kubaczka in September 2025. Masked assailants tied him up in front of his building, put him in a car and took him to an abandoned building in Kłobuck. There they beat him with a taser and batons, which caused his death. Following the crime, they set the building on fire to destroy evidence. The body was concealed in the grave of an elderly woman in the locality of Żytno.
