A 26-year-old man was shot during the morning of this Friday in the city of La Paz and remains hospitalised in reserved condition at San Martín de Paraná Hospital. His health situation is delicate.
Following the incident, police officers from the First Police Station conducted house searches at two properties in the La Milagrosa Norte neighbourhood. There they detained a 28-year-old suspect, who was placed at the disposal of the Justice system.
In the course of the proceedings, uniformed officers seized three mobile phones, a .22 calibre revolver with six rounds of ammunition, and a 150 cc motorcycle. These items will be analysed during the investigation.
Authorities from the La Paz Police Department confirmed to La Sexta that investigations remain open to clarify the motives and exact conditions in which the armed attack occurred.
