Piotr Kuliś, alias "Matador", internationally wanted, was detained in Argentina while attempting to enter from Brazil. The 42-year-old man is linked to the Psycho Fans gang.

Piotr Kuliś, known as "Matador", fell into the hands of Argentine forces in mid-June in Puerto Iguazú, Misiones Province. The man was attempting to cross the border from Brazil, but after verification of his identity it was confirmed that he was wanted by Interpol. Agents from the 13th gendarmerie squadron took charge of the 42-year-old detainee. The case now falls to the federal court of Puerto Iguazú.
The Polish man was listed in the international system through an arrest warrant issued by the Katowice court. According to reports from the portal El Territorio, he is currently being held pending extradition to Poland. The proceedings are at a preliminary stage. Kuliś remains under the supervision of local justice; an interpreter and provisional legal representation have been assigned to him.
Argentine media indicate that he is accused of participation in an illicit association, as well as kidnapping or unlawful deprivation of liberty and hostage-taking. The federal court now awaits a formal extradition request from Poland, which will be analysed in accordance with Argentine international legal cooperation law.
As reported by the newspaper "Gazeta Wyborcza" of Katowice, Kuliś had previously participated in a trial concerning the homicide of 19-year-old GKS Katowice footballer Dominik Koszowski, which occurred in 2016. According to the same source, the detainee also had links to the kidnapping and murder of Marek Kubaczka in September 2025.
