As noen.at reports, a 14-year-old girl must answer to a Vienna court after she allegedly attacked and killed a pensioner at a cemetery. The teenager approached the victim from behind. In the end, the pensioner had more than 80 stab and cut wounds, particularly to the head and neck area.
Before the act, the 14-year-old had taken medications from the benzodiazepine group. Following the attack, she photographed the corpse and sent the images to several people.
Back in her supervised shared accommodation, the teenager herself called the emergency services and confessed to the crime. According to an expert assessment, she was held to be criminally responsible at the time of the offence.
