On Tuesday morning, the head of an educational facility in the Adolf-Loos-Gasse in Floridsdorf received a disturbing electronic message. It announced an act of violence at the school for the following days. The location houses a secondary school and a primary school.
Officers from the capital deployed in large numbers and assessed the risk on site together with the teaching staff. Spokesman Philipp Haßlinger confirmed the ongoing operation and emphasised that every warning would be taken seriously. Investigators are aware of the exact content of the message but have not released it to the public.
