A 31-year-old man must face court in Tyrol after obtaining free ski passes worth nearly 4,000 euros using forged documents. The defendant previously worked for a cable car company but later left the business.
Before his departure, the man copied the employee pass. Together with an expired identity document, he used this copy to repeatedly obtain complimentary daily passes for the slopes. According to the prosecution, the total damage amounts to nearly 4,000 euros.
The prosecution has charged the former lift worker with document forgery and fraud. How the court will decide on the case remains to be seen.
