In Hansalgasse in the Landstraße district, a young man fell victim to three people with covered faces in the early morning hours of Thursday. The 22-year-old was on his way shortly after midnight when the group stopped him and intimidated him with a pistol.
The robbers demanded that their victim hand over valuables. The jogger gave them a small sum of money. The three unknown individuals then disappeared; their direction of flight remains unclear so far.
The police immediately initiated search measures, which to date have not led to the apprehension of the perpetrators. The Criminal Investigation Department of the federal capital is conducting the investigation.
