According to steiermark.orf.at, a large-scale police operation took place on Friday afternoon in the Gries district of Graz: a 42-year-old and a 33-year-old kicked in the flat door of a 40-year-old in Elisabethinergasse at around 16:30.
The background is said to have been alleged money debts owed by the flat occupant to a 32-year-old acquaintance. The 40-year-old then resorted to an illegally possessed gas-pressure pistol and fired in the direction of the two men. Both were slightly injured in the facial area.
Passers-by who heard the shots alerted the police. Numerous patrols and the Cobra tactical unit deployed, and Elisabethinergasse was cordoned off.
The two intruders were arrested at hospital after receiving medical treatment for their wounds. Following completion of investigations, all parties involved will be charged.
