Search of Romer Saucedo property: police seize vehicles in 'suitcases' case

Felcc searches Saucedo property as he declares himself in exile

According to reduno.com.bo, officers of the Special Force to Combat Crime (Felcc) and representatives of the Public Ministry searched a property linked to Romer Saucedo Gómez, president of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ), as part of investigations into the so-called 'suitcases' case.

During the operation, police seized every vehicle that left the property. The officers carried out the corresponding procedures both inside and at the entrances of the property.

The search took place after former deputy Laura Rojas identified Saucedo Gómez, known by the alias 'El Alemán', as the owner of the suitcases that are the subject of this judicial process.

During the procedure, Saucedo himself announced that he had left Bolivia with his wife and three children and declared himself in exile. In his statements, he argued that both his freedom and the life of himself and his family are in danger.

To date, the authorities have not issued an official statement regarding the items found during the searches.
