A 15-year-old girl and a 16-year-old boy were attacked in Anápolis, Goiás. The criminal stole the young people's mobile phones, tied them to railway tracks and fled. Police officers managed to capture the perpetrator. Both teenagers freed themselves and were not injured.

The incident was reported by Jornal Brasil Central (JBC), presented by Danuza Azevedo. The same news programme also covered action by the Public Prosecutor's Office against drug trafficking and organised crime in Goiânia. Three individuals were detained and are under investigation for alleged connection with a national criminal gang.
