Police authorities in São Paulo are searching for a man who calls himself the "Reaper of the PCC", suspected of participating in a homicide committed in a commercial establishment in the state capital. The case gained attention following the arrest of one of his accomplices.

Anderson Batista was arrested whilst sleeping at his residence, located in Embu das Artes, in the metropolitan region of the capital. During a search of the property, agents discovered narcotic substances already divided for sale.

The criminal act occurred inside a delicatessen. Security footage recorded the moment when Anderson and an individual named Vitor — identified as the self-styled "reaper" — physically assaulted a customer who, according to reports, was intoxicated and had provoked a fight at the location.

Following the assault, the injured customer allegedly threatened to return armed with a knife to take revenge on the two men. Before this could occur, however, Vitor obtained a pistol that was stored inside a parked car nearby and fired shots at the young man, causing his death.

Investigations indicated that footage of the assault was obtained through cameras installed by the illegal drug trade to monitor sales points in the region. Another man, identified as Douglas, was recognised as the owner of the weapon used in the crime and also had a warrant for arrest issued by the judiciary.

The three members of the group already have prior police records for crimes such as robbery and illegal possession of firearms.
