Ceará police located and arrested a 55-year-old fugitive on the morning of Wednesday (1st). The arrest took place in a rural locality called Lagoa do Barro, belonging to the municipality of Ipaporanga, in the AIS 7 region.
The man was found guilty of the crime of rape of a vulnerable person, committed in the State of São Paulo. The sentence imposed was eighteen years and eight months of imprisonment in a closed regime. The permanent arrest warrant was issued by the 2nd Criminal Court of Diadema.
The operation was carried out by police from the 3rd Sectional Police Delegation of the Northern Interior, who conducted investigations until they found the fugitive's hideout. After being detained, he was taken to a police station to comply with legal formalities and was then handed over to the judicial authorities.
