Arrest for trafficking and criminal association in Iporanga
A 23-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday (25th) in the Alto do Coqueiro neighbourhood in Iporanga, in the interior of São Paulo, for drug trafficking and criminal association, as reported by g1.globo.com. The Civil Police executed preventive arrest warrants and search and seizure orders at the property where the suspect was located.
The identity of the person under investigation was not disclosed by the authorities. Specific details about the crimes had not been made public until the report went to press.
During the searches, officers seized four mobile phones and a quantity of substance with characteristics similar to cannabis. The materials will be sent for forensic examination and analysed in the course of the investigations.
After his detention, the man was taken to the police station and submitted to a physical examination, remaining at the disposal of the judiciary for the enforcement of the court order.
The operation was conducted by the team from the Iporanga Police Delegacy, with support from police officers from the Cajati Police Delegacy.
