Man arrested after stabbing victim to death in Rosana (SP) bar
A 39-year-old man was arrested in Rosana (SP) on suspicion of stabbing and killing another man, aged 33, following a fight at a bar.

A 39-year-old man was arrested in flagrante delicto on Thursday (5th) in Rosana, in the interior of São Paulo, on suspicion of killing another man, aged 33, with a knife after a fight in a bar in the Primavera neighbourhood, according to information gathered by g1.globo.com.
The crime occurred on the evening of Wednesday (4th), when the victim was stabbed on a public street. The Fire Department was called and transported him to the local emergency room, but the man did not survive his injuries. Death was pronounced at approximately 7.40 a.m. the following morning.
The Military Police, during a patrol, received information about the suspect's whereabouts and located him on Avenida dos Barrageiros. During the approach, the man confessed to committing the crime.
An investigation by the Civil Police revealed evidence that the homicide was carried out by means of an ambush and with a weapon that hindered the victim's defence—circumstances that classify the case as aggravated homicide.
The suspect was taken to the police station and subsequently transferred to the Public Jail of Presidente Venceslau (SP).
