Agents of the Federal Traffic Police conducted two separate operations in inland São Paulo that resulted in the seizure of almost 160 kilogrammes of narcotics in total.
In the first action, which took place in Maracaí, 148.8 kilogrammes of cannabis were confiscated. In the second operation, carried out in Presidente Prudente, police officers found 11.1 kilogrammes of cocaine base paste.
The two operations together account for approximately 160 kilogrammes of drugs taken out of circulation. Details about any detainees and the origin of the merchandise were not disclosed in the report.
