Three armed men invaded a residence in Vila Willians, in Garça (SP), on Sunday morning (6), took the resident hostage and fled with 18 registered firearms belonging to a private collection. According to g1.globo.com, the case is being investigated by the Civil Police.
According to the Military Police, the victim was alone when the criminals entered the house. The three were wearing black clothing, beanies, gloves and rucksacks. They bound the woman and locked her in a bedroom before searching the property.
In addition to the 18 firearms, the suspects took three high-value watches, various pieces of jewellery and amounts in dollars and euros totalling approximately R$ 16,000. After the crime, they fled via the Comandante João Ribeiro de Barros Highway (SP-294).
Security cameras from neighbouring residents recorded a vehicle circulating in the area during the night before the assault. The footage may help with the investigations.
The victim was assisted and taken to the Emergency Care Unit (UPA) in Garça. She had only marks from binding on her wrists. By the time the report was filed, none of the three suspects had been located.
The case was registered at the Judicial Police Central (CPJ) in Marília (SP).
