As reported by 20 Minuten, a concerned mother notified Aargau cantonal police that her daughter had been approached by an adult man on her way home from school. Shortly thereafter, further similar reports came in from Hunzenschwil AG.

The accounts spread rapidly through the school and caused considerable concern in the village. The police subsequently increased their presence in the area.

Despite extensive investigative and search operations, the authorities were initially unable to identify the unknown man. On the afternoon of last Thursday, a further report came in from nearby Oberentfelden AG, which indicated a possible link to the earlier incidents.

In the course of a search, the suspected perpetrator was eventually arrested as he was attempting to drive away in a car. The 31-year-old Swiss man is under strong suspicion of a crime and has been remanded in custody. According to Aargau cantonal police, the exact circumstances and motives remain unclear. The Lenzburg-Aarau public prosecutor's office is conducting a criminal investigation.
