According to aargauerzeitung.ch, a resident in Rupperswil observed three men smashing the window of a pharmacy shortly before 2 a.m. She alerted the police immediately.
Multiple patrols from the Aargau cantonal police and Lenzburg regional police were dispatched to the scene. On site, officers established that the perpetrators had damaged the pharmacy's entrance door with a manhole cover and smashed the glass window.
The police launched an immediate search – with swift results: a patrol from the cantonal police stopped the three suspects shortly afterwards at Rupperswil railway station.
The arrested individuals are two Algerian nationals aged 17 and 33, and a 19-year-old Moroccan. The Aargau cantonal police arrested all three men on strong suspicion of committing the offence. The responsible public prosecutor's office has opened an investigation.
