After a written threat, Zug police evacuated a boarding school. Approximately 30 people had to leave the premises.

In the afternoon of 7 June 2026, a boarding school in the canton of Zug had to be evacuated. Shortly after 4 p.m., the cantonal police received a warning that was issued in written form. Following this, the entire area of the educational facility was cordoned off over a wide area, as SRF reports.
At the time in question, approximately three dozen pupils and supervisory staff were inside the buildings. Emergency personnel brought all those present to a safe location and cared for them there. According to the authorities, there was no threat to the public at any time.
The officers subsequently examined the premises step by step for any possible sources of danger or suspicious objects. In doing so, they found nothing unusual. Around 8 p.m., the police lifted the cordon, whereupon those affected were able to return to their accommodation.
Who made the threat and for what reason remains unknown at present. Investigations by Zug police are ongoing.
